Just An Observation
Why does it feel as though each time I listen to Tim McCarver he seems fond of using the “greatest ever” and “greatest he’s ever seen” proclamations?
“I was talking to a a guy who knows a junior head scout for the Milwaukee Brewers and he told him to tell me that Prince Fielder has the biggest waist he’s ever seen in a baseball uniform.”
“The way Derek Jeter turns the bat inside out and outside in it reminds me of the Cirque du Soleil. He’s the greatest at it I’ve ever seen.”
“If you notice how he grips the ball he uses three fingers instead of two. I was talking to some pitching coaches and they told me he’s the best they’ve ever coached when it comes to gripping a baseball in that manner.”
Maybe ISW should hire McCarver to be a spokesperson for this blog. Where’s Bob Uecker these days anyway?
