Sean Avery - That annoying New York Rangers agitator. An irritant that most teams and coaches would love to have. Avery always finds a way to push the envelope and he managed to do so once again in Game 3 during a playoff game between the Rangers and the New Jersey Devils.

Ever since the arrival of corporate style marketing and the importance
of television deals, sports (not just hockey) have had to pander to a
wider audience. These are the same people who oddly claim that the law
should get involved in hockey fights. This means the casual sports fan
as a consumer takes precedence over the hard core fan. "Buy this
garbage can and support your team!" is all the rage now.
